Unique, warm voice, stage charisma and authenticity. A wonderful vocalist, an exceptional personality with impeccable stage manners. She recorded 15 albums, sang hundreds of concerts before audiences in Poland, as well as in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. She belongs to the group of the most outstanding Polish vocalists and in the jazz circles she is considered as the First Lady of Polish Jazz. Her great career began with the band Bemibek, an exceptional formation on the Polish music market at that time.

She cooperated with the greatest names of the Polish jazz scene, such as Wojciech Karolak, Zbyszek Namysłowski, Jan “Ptaszyn” Wróblewski, Marek Bliziński and Henryk Miśkiewicz. Since 1987, with short breaks, she has been working with Andrzej Jagodziński, pianist, arranger, composer, another great figure of the Polish music scene. This year the artist celebrates the 50th anniversary of her artistic work. Diversity of repertoire has always been an unquestionable asset of Ewa Bem’s programs, but especially in this anniversary year, the selection of works represents a cross-section of her repertoire of the last 50 years.
Starting from her greatest hits, through new arrangements of other performers’ works, the artist also performs pieces with a typically jazz sound. In autumn 2021, the AGORA publishing house released her latest album, entitled EWA BEM-LIVE. During the concert songs from this album will be performed.
